Sollea Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 28 September 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of sollea.app and the Sollea app (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Kerri Wells, trading as Sollea ("Sollea", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, starting a free trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Sollea. If you are using the Service on behalf of someone else, you confirm you have the authority to bind them to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Sollea. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
To use most features, you need to create an account with an email address and password, or another sign-in method we offer. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when you register
- Keep your login details confidential and not share your account with anyone else
- Tell us promptly at hellosollea@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Accept responsibility for activity that happens under your account, except where caused by our failure to keep the Service secure
Each account is for one person. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that are shared or used by multiple people, in breach of this section.
3. The Service We Provide
Sollea is a personal ritual and self-reflection app. It guides you through onboarding questions, generates personalised scripts and reflections using AI, and offers voice-based practices you can use to support your own goals and self-development.
Sollea is a self-reflection and personal development tool. It is not therapy, counselling, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional advice. See Section 10 for more on this.
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the Service over time, to improve it or to reflect changes in the technology or providers we rely on. Where a change materially reduces what's available to paying subscribers, we will give you reasonable notice.
4. Subscriptions, Free Trial, and Billing
Sollea offers a 7-day free trial, which requires a valid payment card to start. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription and we will charge your card the applicable subscription price. We will email you a reminder before your trial converts to a paid subscription.
Current subscription plans are shown at sollea.app/pricing, currently billed at £9.99 per month or £99 per year. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
We may change our prices. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then if you don't want to continue at the new price.
5. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
As a consumer, you have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your subscription within 14 days of starting it, for any reason, and receive a full refund.
Because Sollea gives you access to digital content and generated scripts immediately, starting your free trial or subscription counts as asking us to begin providing the Service straight away, during the cooling-off period. If you cancel after we've started providing the Service but within the 14 days, and you were not on a free trial at the time, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already supplied to you before you cancel.
Where you cancel during a free trial itself, you will not be charged, because the paid subscription has not yet begun.
This statutory right is separate from, and in addition to, cancelling your ongoing subscription at any time as described in Section 6.
6. Cancelling Your Subscription and Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing hellosollea@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll keep access until then. We don't charge a cancellation fee.
Outside the statutory cooling-off period described in Section 5, payments already made for a billing period are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund, or where we've made an error, such as a duplicate or incorrect charge.
If you believe you've been charged in error, contact us at hellosollea@gmail.com and we'll look into it promptly.
7. Acceptable Use
When using Sollea, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaches anyone else's rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access the Service's underlying code except as permitted by law
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or attempting to bypass security measures
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or the scripts it generates for you, without our written permission
- Share your account credentials with anyone else, or use the Service on behalf of multiple people under one account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, as described in Section 13.
8. Your Content and Our License to Use It
You own the content you create using Sollea, including your onboarding answers, journal entries, reflections, and voice recordings ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership of it.
By submitting Your Content, you give us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and use it solely to provide and improve the Service to you, for example to generate your personalised scripts and to keep your practice history. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we need to retain it for a period as described in our Privacy Policy, such as to meet a legal obligation.
You're responsible for Your Content, and confirm you have the right to submit it. Don't submit anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights.
See Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for how AI processing works and how voice recordings are handled.
9. Our Intellectual Property
The Service itself, including its design, software, text, graphics, the Sollea name and logo, and the underlying prompts and systems that generate your scripts, is owned by Sollea or our licensors and protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own personal use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service, other than the personalised scripts generated for you, which you may use for your own personal purposes.
Any feedback or suggestions you give us about the Service may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.
10. Not Medical, Psychological, Financial, or Legal Advice
Sollea is a self-reflection and personal development tool. It is not, and is not a substitute for, medical care, psychological therapy, financial advice, or legal advice. The scripts, reflections, and practices generated by the Service are for personal, motivational, and reflective use only.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, or need medical, financial, or legal advice, please seek help from a qualified professional or, in an emergency, contact the emergency services.
We don't guarantee any particular outcome, result, or change in your circumstances from using the Service. Your experience with Sollea depends on many factors outside our control.
11. Third-Party Services
Sollea relies on third-party providers to deliver the Service, including Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email, an AI provider to generate your scripts and reflections, and Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for site analytics where you've given consent. Our Privacy Policy explains what each provider does and what data they receive.
We aren't responsible for the availability or performance of these third-party services, though we choose providers we consider reliable and take reasonable steps to keep the Service running smoothly.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Beyond that, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what we describe in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under English law, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to the paragraph above, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profits or data, that were not reasonably foreseeable to both of us when you started using the Service.
13. Suspension and Termination
You can close your account at any time from your account settings, or by emailing hellosollea@gmail.com. This ends your subscription as described in Section 6.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with notice where reasonably possible, if you materially breach these Terms, for example by breaching Section 7 (Acceptable Use), or if we reasonably believe your account poses a security risk to the Service or other users.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We'll handle any personal data we hold about you in line with our Privacy Policy and the retention periods described there.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how the Service works. We'll post the updated Terms here with a new "last updated" date. If a change is material, we'll tell you by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before it takes effect, giving you the chance to cancel if you don't agree to the new Terms. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Resolving Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, and mandatory consumer protection laws of your home country may also apply.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hellosollea@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it directly. If we can't resolve a dispute between us, you can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable, or bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or your home jurisdiction within the UK.
16. General Provisions
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable by a court, the rest of the Terms remain in full effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Sollea about the Service, and replace any earlier agreements on the same subject.
If we don't enforce a right under these Terms on one occasion, that doesn't mean we waive it for the future. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, for example if Sollea is acquired, and we'll notify you if this happens.
